The staff made my stay incredible, especially Mr Yuji. He helped me with local attractions and even assisted with luggage shipment. The room was clean and cozy, meeting my needs perfectly for a solo traveller. Bicycles were available at no extra cost, which was a fun way to explore the area. The proximity to Nijo Castle was a highlight. I could easily stroll over there. On the downside, the walls were quite thin, so I could hear noise from neighboring rooms. This made late nights a bit challenging. The location was convenient for buses, but it took some time to walk to the JR Nijo station. Regardless, I found it a good trade-off for the value I received.

The thin walls made it tough to sleep with loud neighbors. I enjoyed the bus access though!

Just spent 4 nights in a Deluxe Twin Room with my family. Super spacious for Japan! Loved the clean shower and the nearby big supermarket. Yeah, the Wi-Fi wasn't the best, but you can’t beat the value here!

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately, I faced some challenges during my stay. The location, while close to bus stops, was quite far from the underground station, making it difficult with luggage. there was a strange design flaw with the room door that bothered me, and the bathroom was very cramped without any convenient storage for my toiletries. These aspects made my overall experience less enjoyable than I had hoped.

Good Value for Budget Travelers!
I enjoyed my stay in the Standard Twin Room for six nights. The bus connections right outside were super convenient for exploring Kyoto, although the noise from neighbors was a minor issue. If you're tall, consider checking the bike conditions before use!
